  • Traditional MBA – A 2-3 year degree program that is offered in full-time, part-time, online, or hybrid/flex formats, and often the degree program is named after the format (i.e. “Our Flex MBA degree program…”). Students typically need 3-5 years of work experience prior to pursuing this degree, and can use this program to enter a new industry.
  • Professional/Corporate MBA – A 2-4 year degree program that is usually offered in a part-time format with evening and/or weekend classes. Students entering this program typically have 5-7 years of professional work experience, and use this degree to network and advance in their current industry.
  • International MBA – A 2-3 year degree program that is similar to a Traditional MBA, but for international students who wish to earn their MBA in the U.S.
  • Global MBA – A 1-3 year degree program that focuses on international business, and and can be for students with 3-7 years of professional work experience. This program typically takes place either completely or mostly in other countries around the world.
  • Executive MBA – A 1-2 year degree program for those who are well-established in their careers with at least 8-12 years of professional work experience. Students typically have classes once a month over a three-day weekend.
  • Global Executive MBA – A 1-2 year degree program that is similar to an Executive MBA that focuses on international business, and takes place either completely or mostly in other countries around the world.
  • MBA Dual Degrees – Many schools also provide the opportunity to earn joint degrees like MBA/Master of Engineering, MBA/Master of Public Policy, MBA/JD, MBA/MD, MBA/DMD, and more.
