Lake Forest College is a liberal arts college with 32 majors, a variety of minors, and two graduate degree programs. The college’s mission entails encouraging students to read critically, reason analytically, communicate persuasively, and to think for themselves. Students can join any of the 70+ organizations available on-campus to connect with their peers and professors, and are encouraged to engage in their communities outside of the school as well.
The Bachelors in Economics degree program at Lake Forest College aims to develop students’ analytical skills to prepare them for careers in economics and attend graduate school for an MBA or PhD. In this program, students can explore research opportunities, and topics like micro/macroeconomics, statistics, labor economics, environmental and natural resource economics, law and economics, and the economics of sports.
